Biola Bound
Think you live too far away to visit Biola University? Biola just made it easier to drop by for the weekend.
What's Biola Bound?
Biola Bound is a four-day visit opportunity. Basically, you arrive on Thursday and we pack your days full of all that Biola and Southern California have to offer, then you head for home on Sunday afternoon. If you decide to enroll at Biola, we will credit your student account for the cost of the flight (up to $500)!
For a more in-depth schedule of the weekend, see below. The five 2008-2009 Biola Bound weekends you can choose from are as follows:
- Dec. 4-7, 2008
- Feb. 5-8, 2009
- Mar. 5-8, 2009
- Apr. 2-5, 2009
Thursday
On Thursday afternoon you'll fly into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and meet up with a Biola staff member and a Student Ambassador at the baggage claim. The Biola folks will then take you and a few other visiting students out for some local cuisine. Next you'll be brought back to Biola for an orientation meeting and a first look at the campus, including the sweet residence hall you'll be staying in on your trip.
Friday
This day is all about you exploring Biola. Want to attend chapel? Go for it. Want to check out a Film, Bible, or Business class? Seize the day. Get to know the campus through a guided tour, or get to know professors and current students while chatting over lunch. A breakout session will answer all your admissions and financial aid questions, and the day will end with a concert, basketball game, or some other activity planned especially for you! Not a bad way to spend a Friday, huh?
Saturday
Saturday is reserved for wild rides, funny food, and tons of fun in the "happiest place on earth" - Disneyland! Whether you've been to the house of the mouse before or this will be your first time, come prepared for a great time (and maybe a chilly night) with some awesome new friends.
Sunday
Your Biola Bound experience will wrap up with a worship service at one of the strong local churches. After church, you'll grab a quick lunch with us before we drop you off at the LAX for your flight home - a flight that could be on us!
